Privacy Policy for My Water Waifu

My Water Waifu is developed and operated by Rivera LLC.

In this Privacy Policy, “My Water Waifu,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the app and services operated by Rivera LLC.

This Privacy Policy explains how Rivera LLC collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use My Water Waifu and related services.

Information We Collect

We collect information needed to provide the App’s hydration, account, reminder, character, and purchase features.

Information Users Provide

This may include your email address, account information, profile details, hydration and water-tracking data, reminder settings, selected character, custom character prompts, and generated character images.

Device, Technical, and Analytics Information

Rivera LLC does not use analytics information for advertising, advertising measurement, or tracking purposes. The App does not currently support health or fitness integrations.

Subscription and Purchase Information

If you make a purchase or subscription through the App, Apple App Store or Google Play processes the transaction. Rivera LLC may receive purchase status and transaction information needed to provide and manage your purchase. Rivera LLC does not receive your full payment-card details from the app stores.

How We Use Information

Rivera LLC uses information to provide account login, hydration tracking, reminders, character selection, AI character generation, purchase access, customer support, and account and data deletion.

Information is not used for third-party advertising or marketing.

Third-Party Services and SDKs

My Water Waifu may use Firebase services to store account and App data. When you request a custom character image, your custom character prompt is sent to OpenAI to generate that image. Apple and Google process purchases made through their respective app stores.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Rivera LLC does not sell information or share it with data brokers. Information is shared with service providers only as needed to provide the features described in this Privacy Policy, process app-store purchases, comply with law, or protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Rivera LLC, or others.

Data Retention

Rivera LLC retains account and App data while your account is active and as needed to provide the App. After a verified deletion request, account and associated App data will be deleted within 30 days, except for information Rivera LLC must retain to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce agreements. Any such information is retained only for as long as required for those purposes.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data in the App by opening Profile, selecting Delete Account, and confirming the deletion.

User Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information, or object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email Rivera LLC using the contact information below. Rivera LLC may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security

Rivera LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children’s Privacy

My Water Waifu is not directed to children under 13, and Rivera LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact Rivera LLC so it can be deleted.

International Users

My Water Waifu is available internationally. Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ. Rivera LLC handles information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Rivera LLC may update this Privacy Policy as the App or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
